You may already be 'voting with your dollar' on what and from where you buy, but consider aligning your assets with your values too through Impact Investing. SCOCO member Aubrey Beltran and the Women's Environmental Network will host an informational panel detailing how different institutions you choose to save and invest with can enhance the health of our environment and communities too.
Explore the array of avenues available--from community banks and credit union options in the Bay Area, to carbon neutral 401ks and socially-responsible index funds.
Networking and light snacks will be provided from 6:00 to 6:30, with a quick briefing on the history of impact investing before the discussion begins.
The informational panel features guests such as Megan Morrice, MBA, of HIP Investor Inc. and Kristin Hull, CEO, Founder of Nia Impact Advisors, author of the Money Doula Blog with more panelists to be announced soon! Resource guides provided to all attendees.
