On this moderate 4-mile roundtrip hike we’ll enjoy early bloomers in riparian, chaparral, grassland, and woodland plant communities, as we view 15-million-year-old marine fossils from long ago when an inland sea covered this area. As we walk, we’ll keep an eye out for raptors soaring above.
