This internationally acclaimed film follows Beth, a mother and child-rights activist from the U.S., who comes to discover the complexities of the  population issue from the perspective of over-consumption and global inequity. While Beth begins to question her own lifestyle and society, the film offers an honest but hopeful perspective, as it strives not to blame but to educate and to highlight a different path for humanity.

Following the film, join us in a discussion with experts from HowMany.org / Institute for Population Studies about population growth and climate change and the effects both have on human health, women’s rights, and the social and economic issues we face globally and locally.

Refreshments from 6-7pm and movie at 7pm.

Buy tickets in advance at greenrheem.org.
