Inner Eye Art invites you to the screening of a short documentary film "Dharavi Diary" and discussion on Slum Innovation initiative.  Tickets required-see link below.

Public education through storytelling can influence policy and create real social change. Join Dharavi Diary as they share their short film, talk about their SLUM INNOVATION initiative, and explain how they push the boundaries of film making by trying to make a difference on a grassroots level.

Dharavi Diary is a slum innovation project fusing entrepreneurship and storytelling by film maker Nawneet Ranjan. The basic premise is that people in poverty practice jugaad—best translated as a quick fix or workaround—out of necessity. Dharavi Diary’s goal is to enable more entrepreneurs in poor communities by developing their jugaad skills so they can improve their income opportunities.
