The Ruth Bancroft Garden celebrates its Spring Opening Day with our Annual Spring Plant Sale.  We sell a unique collection of hard-to-find drought-tolerant plants, perfect for California’s Mediterranean climate. Our plant sales feature natives and other drought-tolerant plants, cacti, agaves, echeverias, aloes and other succulents, specialty dish gardens and more. Please visit our new Ruth Bancroft Garden Nursery web page for a list of some of the many drought tolerant plants that will be displayed at the Sale!

Entry is free all day and you can tour The Garden during its prime spring-time bloom season and get inspired by Ruth Bancroft’s design and plant collection. Docents will be stationed in the garden to share stories and information about The Garden’s history and botanical value. At our Merchandise table you will find garden-related gifts, apparel, and over 50 book titles about gardening with drought-tolerant plants.

Come and enjoy The Garden and browse our wide selection of plants available for purchase!
