To be held at The Ruth Bancroft Garden.

Tired of the same plants in your garden year after year? Looking to incorporate some exciting new materials? Attend a cutting edge workshop on new plants for Contra Costa County. Stew Winchester will introduce a palate of plants that you have probably not yet worked with but will thrive in your gardens. These plant species will withstand our varying temperatures, are drought-tolerant, and will fit into our environment. Not only will you see and interact with a display of the plants he is introducing to you, but you will learn why these plants will work better than what you might already have in your garden.

Spend a Saturday morning at The Ruth Bancroft Garden with Stew Winchester, a local professor and horticultural expert. Stew's passion for bringing interesting plants into local design is infectious; he will have you planting new plants in your garden and understanding why they will thrive in our climate.
