MORAGA GARDENS FARM:
Principles and Practices of Organic Farming
Thursday, February 23 from 7 to 9 pm
Moraga Library
1500 St. Mary's Road

Join Deva Rajan of Moraga Gardens Farm and Julie Welch, St. Mary's College community garden coordinator, for an evening devoted to organic gardening.

Deva Rajan started the Moraga Farm in 1985 on an acre of land owned by Russell Bruzzone.  The mission of the farm is to operate a self-sustaining farm, providing organic produce to markets, restaurants, charities and farm members.  Promoting organic gardening is also an important part of their mission.
If you are interested in the history of this volunteer-run garden, curious about how the successful project is run, or hope to start your own vegetable patch this spring, this informative evening will include plenty of time for your questions and answers.

For further information please contact Beth Girshman atbgirshma@ccclib.org or call the library, 925-376-6852, ext 200.
