Join Susan Handjian, horticulturist and co-author of EBMUD’s Plants and Landscapes for Summer-Dry Climates to learn about the many glorious plants that not only endure but thrive in hot, dry climates. We’ll discuss how plants adapt to heat and dryness, have an update on the current drought, and highlight some of the best, toughest, and most beautiful heat lovers. Many of the featured plants will be for sale on the day of the class.
