Custom flavored teas make great hostess gifts and presents for the holidays. Join Suzy Sherwood for this two hour workshop to learn how to create 4-5 different tea blends using classic tea bases of Assam, Darjeeling, Oolong.
In class we will blend Indian Chai, (Masala Chai), Darjeeling based “Birthday Tea”, Autumn Blend, and Christmas Tea
Learn what to look for when shopping online for tea (the exotic world of plantation teas and why harvest seasons make a difference) as well as how to backwards engineer beloved but too expensive (or hard to obtain) commercial flavored teas.
Participants will take home: Recipes, lists of tea bases matched with classic flavorings, and of course, the fruits of their labor.
