Contra Costa Water Distrct staff will present an overview of the Lawn to Garden Rebate Program including program eligibility rules and how to apply, including a moderated Q&A session. For the second presentation, staff will show attendees how to remove a lawn using the sheet mulching method. This method of decomposing the lawn under layers of mulch and cardboard has proven to be an excellent and economical way to convert a lawn to a landscape.
