Lawns can be a real headache-contending with high water bills, weeds, broken sprinklers, gophers, loud mowers, fertilizers, and more. If you've ever considered converting any part of your lawn to native or drought tolerant plants, then this workshop is for you! Maureen Isaacs, a summer intern, dedicated her summer to learning about lawn conversion. She is excited to share everything she's learned, especially her recommended steps that make it as easy and affordable as possible to transform your yard. Local residents will also share their experiences, and Mt. Diablo Nursery will be on hand with some of the most popular natives to consider.
