Join Mike Vickers, Walnut Creek Public Services Manager to learn how Walnut Creek has transformed its own practices of caring for its gardens and landscaped areas in order to protect watersheds, natural habitats, and creeks. Participants will learn how to apply these concepts to their own gardens.

Mr. Vickers is in charge of caring for Walnut Creek’s green spaces and has operationalized the very principles of sustainable gardening and tree care that we all strive to achieve. Enjoy a visually appealing and informative presentation. Take a guided tour of the new Centennial Grove, celebrating the City’s 100th anniversary.
