Celebrate Earth Day on a delightful hike featuring wildflowers and great views!
Briones Regional Park has ridges and valleys that support fairly diverse habitats, including grasslands, oak woodlands, and riparian forest. The middle part of the hike, before and after our lunch stop, will probably display the most diverse wildflowers and other native plants.
While there is some steep uphill climbing to and going along Briones Crest Trail, it is mostly downhill after lunch. We will stop frequently to identify plants, which means you won’t get too out of breath.
