The Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join us this Saturday, December 6th. We are looking for 50 volunteers, and this project is open to all ages!

The project will be revisiting a site that was planted last year as an experiment to test whether native grasses and sedges can successfully replace the exotic plants that now dominate flood channels and many riparian stream banks. Restoration Trust is partnering with the District to provide lunch and their planting expertise to the volunteers.
