Floral Arranging Presentation with Najat Nicola

Najat returns to The Gardens to entertain us with her floral creations. She will prepare a number of designs, sharing resources and giving tips and ideas to invigorate our winter arrangements.
Najat Nicola's interest in plants and flower arranging stems from her childhood. Her mother's humble flower garden in her native Lebanon was rather small and primitive but it was very special. It was there that she first grew intrigued with flowers and leaves. Residing in northern California has only enhanced and nurtured this passion. Najat began studying floral design in the early nineties and began teaching courses at the Gardens at Heather Farm shortly thereafter. She has been honored to participate in Bouquets to Art for fourteen years and offers her services for philanthropic causes throughout the Bay Area. She has extended her medium beyond floral design to botanical studies, fine art and botanical watercolor painting. Najat loves to share her talents with others through teaching and encouraging people to find their own style and passion.
A Floral Arranging Hands-On Workshop takes place the following Friday, February 26 at 9:30 a.m. Take what you saw in Najat’s presentation and make your own centerpiece or arrangement. Bring a vase or container and materials and she will advise and guide you to a beautiful arrangement. A supply list and directions will be given at the presentation on February 19.
Cost for the presentation is $25 Members/ $30 Non-Members
