Sustainable Lafayette’s Summer Film Series concludes with a “can’t miss” event featuring Bag It, and much more, on Tuesday, July 31st at 7pm at the Lafayette Library.   Bag It has been garnering awards at film festivals across the nation. What started as a documentary about plastic bags evolved into a wholesale investigation into plastics and their effect on our waterways, oceans, and bodies.   Beth Terry, author of new book “Plastic Free,” will be on hand to introduce the movie and answer questions afterwards.  Educational tables by various non-profits will be setup starting at 6:30pm.  Free cookies from Chow Restaurant and free coffee/snacks from Whole Foods.  $5 donation suggested.
