Pleasant Hill Instructional Garden is a National Wildlife Federation registered wildlife habitat, demonstrating water conservation and recycling, use of drought tolerant and native plants, using no pesticides or herbicides, to create an environmentally healthy living landscape and natural laboratory. PHIG has been honored by the City of Pleasant Hill, Sustainable Contra Costa, and others for creating an eco-friendly sustainable garden and for making a difference in our community.
