Seasonal maintenance keeps your water-wise garden healthy. Fall garden maintenance includes adjusting your irrigation, pruning, sheet mulching areas with stubborn weeds, and replanting where needed to prepare for winter rains.
Join us for a hands-on workshop at Crown Memorial State Beach's water-wise habitat garden! East Bay Regional Park Ranger Ross Mitchell will give a tour of the garden and lead maintenance activities that can be replicated at your home. An EBMUD Representative will also be on hand to discuss the drought and EBMUD's new super rebates. Bring your gardening gloves, knee pads (if needed) and plenty of water.
