With the winter rains, our remarkable California and Rough-Skinned newts return to the lagoons where they were born to mate and lay eggs. We'll take a nature hike to view these amazing amphibians as they cavort au naturale! As we walk, will listen for the melodeous chorus of Pacific Treefrogs.

This is a moderate 4-mile roundtrip hike with a few hundred feet in elevation change. Rain cancels

The outing is free but reservations are required.
