Environmental Awareness Series - Lecture & Tour - Free
Nadine Findley & Robb Kingsbury will give a Free - Lecture (45 minutes) with slides about sustainable practices in the garden & our lives. Permaculture, working with nature, growing organic & heirloom veggies, greywater, collecting rainwater, backup systems in the garden, using less water, reuse of building materials, sharing, and building community. Free - Tour of Bumblebee Farm & Garden after the lecture. Visit Bumblebee Farm & Garden to see an organic farm & permaculture in action -swales, rain water barrels, rain water catchment systems, 43 fruit trees, organic or heirloom veggies, fruits, herbs, flowers, bees, wildlife habitat, companion plants, soil building, and having a more sustainable, efficient, and healthier garden, while being better for the environment. There is also a reflexology path and sandy beach to ground you to the earth.
