Learn how to fix your stuff! Ripped jeans? Cracked screen? Broken blender?
Repair coaches will be available to help attendees not only fix their item but also learn the skills to make their own repairs in the future!
Register the item you would like to learn how to repair using by filling out a Repair Workshop Registration Form by Sunday, April 12th so that coaches can prepare in advance. Coaches and event staff will reach out to attendees to let them know if they need to purchase any parts ahead of the event in order to repair their item.
The event will also feature informational tables from local agencies, including RecycleMore and MCE Clean Energy, as well as community organizations such as the El Cerrito Garden Club, El Cerrito/ Richmond Annex Walk & Roll, Sustainable Contra Costa (SCOCO), 350 Contra Costa Action, and Citizens’ Climate Lobby, along with a children’s crafting activity provided by the El Cerrito Creative ReUse (ECCRU) Artists in Residence.
