This workshop combines best practices from permaculture and ecology to illustrate how gardens can function as ecosystems to naturally controlpests and diseases. Jennifer Berry is a practicing ecologist and garden designer, and through experimentation has developed general principles that can be used in any garden setting. Jennifer illuminatesrelationships between common pests and their predators, plus relationships between plants, soils and benefi cial microorganisms working to fi ght diseases. Come prepared to look into the microscopic world to discover Animal Planet drama in your own backyard.
