- Take a free tour of the garden led by U. C. Master Gardener, Monika Olsen.
- Bring your smartphone for fun, educational citizen science in the Garden.

Pleasant Hill Instructional Garden is a National Wildlife Federation registered wildlife habitat, demonstrating water conservation and recycling, use of native plants and pollinator plants, using no pesticides or herbicides which degrade our environment, to create an environmentally healthy living landscape and laboratory. PHIG has been honored by the City of Pleasant Hill, Sustainable Contra Costa, and others for creating an eco-friendly sustainable garden and for making a difference in our community.
