Celebrate Earth Day at PHIG on April 28th! (ALSO Arbor Day is officially 4-26-24)
Theme: to ensure our earth and all beings upon it are happy, healthy, and growing to be as strong as they possibly can be--which provides clean air, clean water, clean soil, and clean food!
Pleasant Hill Instructional Garden is a National Wildlife Federation registered wildlife habitat, demonstrating water conservation and recycling, use of native plants and pollinator plants, using no pesticides or herbicides which degrade our environment, to create an environmentally healthy living landscape and laboratory. PHIG has been honored by the City of Pleasant Hill, Sustainable Contra Costa, and others for creating an eco-friendly sustainable garden and for making a difference in our community.
