Sustainable Lafayette will be hosting a free Earth Day Festival to celebrate our beautiful town and local environment. Lafayette Earth Day will be April 21, 11am-2pm, at the Plaza Downtown (3530 Plaza Way). Earth Day 2024 will include family-friendly activities including a petting zoo and free bike tune-up, as well as local eco-friendly businesses providing inspiration and connecting us to more environmentally friendly resources.
Visit Sustainable Contra Costa's FREE bike repair booth, sponsored by 511 Contra Costa. We’ll be doing bicycle tune-ups & safety checks, including adjustments, lubrication, & proper tire inflation. We can even repair some flat tires (not all sizes available).
Earth Day 2024 is being organized by Sustainable Lafayette, a 16-year old local volunteer-run nonprofit organization in Lafayette whose mission is to promote more sustainable living and environmental health.
