Event Description

Docent Training for the Nature Science Classroom begins in September

Are you interested in teaching kids about nature? Do you love the outdoors? Become a volunteer instructor and make a difference in your community. Help us inspire 13,000 students per year with hands on science education.

The Gardens at Heather Farm offers docent training for their Natural Science Classroom programs beginning in September. Our training and enrichment programs include speakers, field trips and hands on learning experiences in the garden.

Training is free, although there is a $35 fee for membership to the Gardens. It is our mission to educate and inspire our community about sustainable gardening and stewardship practices that preserve and protect our environment.

Join us for training on Tuesdays in September 10am-12pm
