The Sustainability Fair will share information about gardening, mulching and composting, managing pests, preserving the produce you grow, keeping bees, raising chickens, planting fruit trees and more. Growing your own vegetables can be a first step in a sustainable, healthy lifestyle that connects you in new ways to the food you eat.

Whether your ambition is to become an urban farmer or you just want to get your fingernails dirty and grow a few vegetables or garden plants, the Sustainability Fair will have something for everyone!  We will have formal presentations and informal demos throughout the day, with plenty of opportunity to ask lots of questions.

We want to make this a fun day for the kids too and are planning a Children’s Activity Center.  Vendors will offer healthy, local food.

  • We enjoyed our time meeting such great people and seeing all the fun exhibits- Getting our hands on a few veggie plants was also a plus!

We would like to participate in next years event!

There were bees and Poultry represented- How about rabbits??

Lupin Lapin Rabbitry is a SMALL raiser and exhibitor of rare Lilac breed  rabbits. We also practice permaculture principals with our rabbits as a integrated partners in the process: They are fed locally sourced/homestead/traditional style foods and in turn give us the most fantastic plant food in the form of naturally pelleted fertilizer with no need to compost beforehand  !
