Hurricanes, forest fires and heatwaves have dominated news coverage in the past few months. Do these extreme weather events, which appear to be occurring more frequently and with more destructive ferocity, have anything to do with climate change? Come learn from SMC Professor Joel Burley as he discusses the complex links between our climate, weather events and their impacts on human well-being. The Teach-in will be followed by a discussion with Professor Burley, and SMC's Climate Reality leaders. Post-apocalyptic food will be served. (think cliff bars and candy canes)
