Join Sustainable Leaders in Action on Thursday, August 5th for the next Climate Careers Chat!

Register here using your email to attend live.
This event will feature two panelists from the environmental industry field. The Climate Careers Chats are a series of quarterly panels that feature a broad and diverse range of speakers from the California Bay Area and beyond. These events aim to educate anyone interested in environment-related careers, from students to seasoned professionals and are free to attend.

USDA Environmental Protection Specialist Ralph Jessee works in industrial hygiene, environmental health, animal welfare, and more. In his free time, he enjoys caring for his bonsai and playing guitar. Ralph’s Climate Tip is to re-use your plastic bags at the grocery store!

Bio-Rad Laboratories Global Sustainability Program Manager Jacqueline Drumheller is responsible for developing and launching Bio-Rad’s global sustainability & ESG strategy. Her Climate Tip is, “Want to save the world? Then eat your vegetables. Not only does more and more evidence point to health risks associated with consuming beef and dairy, it is also a leading contributor to climate change. Global livestock production emits more GHGs than all cars, trains, cars and planes combined.”

The Zoom meeting information will be sent to you on the day of the event. The event will be closed captioned and recorded.
The Climate Careers Chats are produced by Sustainable Leaders In Action, Sustainable Contra Costa’s youth-led team, and are co-hosted by the Contra Costa County Library.
