Event Description

The forum is open to the public and the topics include the science of climate change, the moral imperative for action and how individuals can get involved alone or with other.
The forum speakers are:
Andrew Gunther, Ph.D.
Executive Coordinator of the Bay Area Ecosystems Climate Change Consortium and Board of Directors of the Union of Concerned Scientists
Rev. Canon Sally Bingham
Canon for the environment in the Episcopal Diocese of California and lead author of Love God Heal Earth. She was awarded the Audubon Society's Rachel Carson Award in 2012 for environmental leadership. She is also the founder and president of the Regeneration Project, which is focused on an Interfaith Power and Light campaign.
Wei-Tai Kwok
Solar technology expert and the president of Sustainable Lafayette.  He is a trained speaker with Al Gore's Climate Reality Project.
Temple Isaiah's Environmental Committee is committed to protecting the environment and its diverse species. The work of this committee includes supporting greenhouse gas reductions and fighting climate change, supporting sustainability, protecting public health and safety and driving environmental policy for Temple Isaiah.
