Let’s Celebrate the Change of Season and Prepare the Garden for Winter!

Martinez Permaculture Center is hosting a Center Avenue Community Garden Work Day/Lunch Potluck and you are invited !  It is time to do a garden clean-up and mulching for the winter.  We will enjoy a potluck lunch together between 12:30 and 1pm

RSVP:  Email to MPC – davidmudgegardens@yahoo.com

We welcome everyone who loves community gardening to join us for a day of creating community by working and eating together.

Here’s a list of projects we need help with:

·         Clean out raised beds
·         Plant cover crops in raised beds
·         Clean up and turn compost in bins
·         Spread wood chip mulch everywhere (We are renting a Bobcat loader to do the heavy work)
·         Weeding

Potluck Lunch:  Bring your favorite healthy dish and share the recipe so people know what is in the dish (helps with food allergies, etc.).

Please bring your own re-usable dishes, cutlery and a cup/mug (napkins. water and washing station provided).  Please No paper or plastic products.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an alcohol-free, drug-free, no-smoking gathering.

We invite you to visit our MPC Blog where you will find photos and stories of the ongoing development of the Center Avenue Community Garden  . . . http://www.martinezpermaculture.blogspot.com/ .
