A golden opportunity to learn from one of California’s most innovative and respected nurserymen, Jeff Rosendale, Founder and Owner of Sierra Azul Nursery, Watsonville. Using slides and plant specimens, Jeff will teach us how to effectively deal with our special challenges of summer heat/winter cold, clay soil, and deer by utilizing plants from Mediterranean climates around the world. Following class beautiful plants from Sierra Azul will be offered for sale. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Gardens at Heather Farm. Jeff will be distributing handouts.
