Thanksgiving celebrates the love of family & friends. Let’s give thanks to our planet as well. Chef Alison returns to the Ecology Center Classroom to set you up to host (or attend) a more sustainable event this year. She’ll talk about shopping lists, portion planning, how to execute a better potluck – whether you’re a guest or the host, table settings, zero waste cooking, food storage, using up leftovers, and some of her favorite tactics to enjoy the day with less stress.
Alison will also go through the details of roasting a turkey and some alternative to turkey show-stopping recipe ideas.
