The East Bay Green Home Tour is a chance to see what your East Bay neighbors are doing with their homes to combat climate change, improve air quality, generate clean energy, conserve water, and move towards a safer, healthier, greener future.
This year’s East Bay Green Home Tour includes a virtual tour of 3 homes in the morning and an in-person tour of 10+ homes in the afternoon, all located in Alameda County. So many good ideas to jumpstart your own home projects!
The tour features some really neat systems, appliances, and green building materials including smart plugs, recirculation pumps, a Channing Street Copper Charlie range (120 volt range with backup battery), community solar, Fireclay tile, electrifying on 100 amp panel, grey water systems, a SPAN smart panel, all-in -one clothes washer/dryer, Harvest Thermal heat pump & thermal battery, electric cars with vehicle to load, and more! Of course there will be heat pumps galore!
