‎10/10/10 Global Work Party: what will YOU be doing? 350.org, the international grassroots climate action campaign, is having a Global Work Party this weekend, where the point is to do something in your community. Last year, 350.org brought us the world's "most widespread day of political action in the planet's history," inspiring 181 countries to host 5,200 actions for International Day of Climate Action. 350.org wanted people everywhere to show political leaders they were thinking about our future, and the importance of 350 parts per million - the upper limit of carbon our atmosphere can handle, without drastically changing the wonderful planet we call home. This year, 350.org wants people everywhere to show political leaders that we're willing to get to work - and if we can, so can they.
