Join the Environmental Voter Project!

Sustainable Rossmoor’s Upping Our Game Committee was charged with finding ways that individuals can have as large on impact on combating climate change as possible. Their best answer to that mission is to help get the U.S. to develop the political will to address climate change. They do that by partnering with Environmental Voter Project to text non-voting environmentalists and gently turn them into voting environmentalists in 12 mostly battleground states. Those environmentalists, in turn, will elect leaders who will take action to combat climate change.

 

We are looking for individuals who can commit two or more hours/week during the primary and general election season texting these environmentalists from your computer or smart phone. Sustainable Rossmoor volunteers will train them. You can work from the comfort of your own home.

Or do both! You will then receive links to start the training, followed up by a video conference or face-to-face conference to graduate you into the ranks of texters! You, your kids, and your grandkids will be glad you are doing this.
