Hello Everyone,

Thank you for volunteering with Contra Costa Fruit Rescue. Together we have harvested over 70,000 lbs of fruit since we started in January 2023. That is an amazing accomplishment we can all be proud of.

We get a lot of requests for us to rescue fruit and in order to meet the growing demand for our services we need to grow as an organization. To that end, we are seeking additional help. If you have one to two days a month we have a place for you.

Our number one need is people willing to lead group harvests of various sizes. (Harvest Leader)

Our second need is for people that are willing to do a harvest of a single tree on their own or with a couple of other people. (Trained Harvester)

Our third need is for people willing to take responsibility for managing, organizing and possibly leading harvests in specific geographic areas. (such as Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Concord, West Contra Costa, Dublin, Pleasanton & Livermore) (Area Lead)

We would provide training, support and equipment. All this work can be arranged to work within the constraints of your schedule and can be flexible from month to month.

If you are interested and/or want to know more please follow the link to a brief 5 question survey form and we will contact you.

Thank you for your time and support of our project. We appreciate you all.
