As a grassroots organization, SCOCO's ability to effectively inspire and educate people to enhance and sustain the quality of life we enjoy is dependent on our dedicated volunteers. We invite you to keep an eye on our Volunteer Spotlight each month.
The first volunteer we'd like to recognize is Board Member and Communications Director Kimberly Lam. As Communications Director, Kimberly does an amazing job each month leading the Communications Committee in their wonderful work on the monthly SCOCO Insights e-newsletter, as well as our social media campaigns - making sure we're providing relevant and useful information that will inspire change. In addition to coordinating, writing, and leading our communications activities, Kimberly serves on our Sustainable Enterprise Conference planning committee, is a huge help with the annual Awards Gala, and has been a dedicated Sustainable Contra Costa Board Member and volunteer since 2013. We're so grateful for your support, Kimberly!
