California’s mandatory drought restrictions have been lifted, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to stop water conservation efforts. According to the State Water Board, approximately 60% of California still remains in a severe drought. Continuing conservation practices, especially in dry summer months, will help make our water future more secure. Much of California has already demonstrated a commitment to saving water in the uncertain drought climate; water use was reduced by about 24% from June 2015 to April 2016, compared to the same months in 2013. Let’s keep it up!
