The Workforce Health Ambassadors program is looking for individuals interested in:
- Improving professional development skills
- Gaining exposure to public health sectors
- Engaging with your community as a trusted source of information
We are hiring 6-month, grant-funded positions for individuals who meet specific eligibility requirements.
The WHA Program is a 6-month entry-level program focused on employing individuals from Contra Costa County between ages 18-30. The program was created to provide exposure to careers in public health, increase public health knowledge, and improve and develop workplace professionalism skills. We also train our ambassadors to promote health resources and conduct health education within their communities.
Eligibility Requirements:
- 18 - 30 years old
- No prior participation in Americorps Programs
- Priority given to Contra Costa County residents
