Calling all Volunteers!
Here are Sustainable Contra Costa's upcoming volunteer opportunities! Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering in person at the following events:
- *Friday, October 4 from 4-6 p.m. @ the Antioch Library
- Friday, October 17 from 4-6 p.m. @ the Antioch Library
- Friday, October 21 from 4-6 p.m. @ the Antioch Library
- **Saturday, October 22nd: Walnut Creek Eco Fest @ Walnut Creek Civic Park 11am.-3pm
- Friday, October 28 from 4-6 p.m. @ the Antioch Library
* All of the Friday events will be at the same time and place as part of an ongoing opportunity for Sustainable Contra Costa to share our resources in East Contra Costa County
** Eco Fest is the kick-off event for Walnut Creek Sustainability Week. Seeing as this is an all day event, volunteers would not be required to work the whole day. Additionally, event volunteers will help with event set up and break down. If you are interested in volunteering for any amount of time for this event, please let us know.
We have two specific tasks for Eco Fest volunteers:
1. Tabling for SCOCO
2. Volunteering to help with the Art Zone
If you are interested in volunteering, please email info@sustainablecoco.org with the date you'd like to volunteer. Sustainable Contra Costa staff will train you in all things SCOCO before the event and provide you with all of the materials you will need!
