GREAT NEWS…We did it! We met or exceeded both of our Sept-Nov Fall Challenge goals:
- Goal: Get 500 new Households to join The Challenge by the end of November / Actual result: over 800 new households!
- Goal: Increase our CO2 savings to 1100 tons- goal met! (That means we saved 160 Tons of CO2 during the 3 month challenge.)

- Store it, Serve it, Share it- Don’t waste those holiday leftovers! Check out the ways to store, serve or share your food. Especially helpful, is the “What’s In My Fridge” recipe finder under the Resources at the bottom.
- Weatherize Your Home- Feeling drafty? Check out this great action that helps you seal those holes and keep the heat in. Be sure to check the BayREN Resource at the bottom for cash rebates on home energy improvements.
- Volunteer - Spread holiday cheer this season by volunteering! Trinity Center in Walnut Creek has 2 great holiday volunteer opportunities that you can find here. Help those in need by serving warm breakfasts or dinners throughout December.
