Acterra is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring people together to create local solutions for a healthy planet.
Acterra’s Business Environmental Awards is dedicated to recognizing outstanding environmental achievements in the Bay Area business community. Since its inception in 1990, the program has awarded over 130 businesses, government, academic and nonprofit organizations for excelling in environmental leadership and making improvements that drastically reduce their environmental impact.
Eligibility
Any private or public business entity, division or facility located in the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz County. Contra Costa County businesses are now eligible to apply for 2012 Awards!
Applications are available at www.acterra.org/bea and are due Friday, December 9th.
