Villa Sobrante: A Natural Retrofit and Permaculture Project at El Sobrante Library

October 5, 2011 from 7pm to 8:30pm
In October of 2008, four women bought a foreclosed and boarded up house on a 1/3 of an acre in El Sobrante. Their vision was to carry out a natural retrofit, and to create both a home and a center to learn and teach ways to live in a more sustainable and regenerative way.  One of the co-founders, Trilby duPont, will share pictures and discuss the earthen buildings, food and water systems on the site, and the learning process of engaging with the county, neighbors, and one another.See More
