Join us for our 2026 Earth Day Celebration as the Green Movie Night series presents a screening of the impactful documentary The Story of Plastic.

Presented in collaboration with Sustainable Walnut Creek, this thought-provoking film explores the global plastic pollution challenge, how recycling systems evolved, and the broader forces shaping our relationship with plastic. Through compelling footage and creative storytelling, it invites us to better understand the issue—and consider what’s possible moving forward. Following the film will be a panel discussion and Q&A featuring City staff and local organizations sharing current initiatives—and practical ways we can each make a meaningful impact locally.
