Nov 23-24, 2010 / Freeze warning North and East Bay

These are the tough freeze warnings – just when everything is soaked with rain. A few precautionary tactics:

1. Christmas lights on the citrus trees and around tender plants / pls ensure waterproof or GFCI connections for outdoor plugs

2. Frost fabric

3. Cloud Cover or Wilt Pruf sprays / I have not used, though understand it is helpful. Unsure of its effect if applied on wet foliage, however. http://www.cloudforest.com/cafe/forum/38935.html
