Nation-wide movement to get antibacterial Triclosan out of schools

Hi everyone:

Thanks for inviting me to your Alliance discussion. I'd like to introduce the topic of antibacterial soaps being unnecessarily used in schools, and overuse of disinfectants and asthma triggering cleaning products in schools.

There's another mom who has worked with me in past years as a Parents for a Safer Environment member who is now working for the American Lung Assocation, whose job is to go to schools throughout the Bay Area and train students/teachers how to stay away from asthma triggers like cleaning products and pesticides among others, and use safer alternatives. Would you like to invite her to join us too?
