Introduction to Biointensive Vegetable Gardening at Gardens at Heather Farm

June 26, 2010 from 9am to 4pm
Learn how to grow vegetables, fruit, nuts and grains in your own backyard, organically and sustainably. The class will introduce the biointensive method including bed preparation, companion planting, and the use of compost crops. The second half of the class will be a hands-on demonstration and garden tour at the instructor’s garden in Walnut Creek. Bring lunch. REGISTRATION/FEE REQUIRED.
