Launching this month, PG&E’s Solar Choice program extends the option for 100 percent solar power to all residential and business customers who are not planning to install rooftop solar panels. For a modest charge, customers can purchase half or all of their electric power from solar energy sourced in Northern and Central California, reducing their carbon footprint and driving the development of new solar resources within the state.
Customers can learn more about the program at www.pge.com/solarchoice, as well as access the online tool to help estimate the cost and environmental benefits associated with signing up for PG&E’s Solar Choice. Residential customers can sign-up online and business customers can enroll by calling the dedicated customer service line at877-743-8429.
