The hikes are sorted into 3 difficulty levels - easy, moderate and challenging based on length, trail condition and elevation gain, so there's something for everyone! There are trails open to hikers, bicyclists, dogs, and equestrians, and many are wheelchair accessible. The guidebook has a handy page for each recommended hike, including directions to the trail head, a map, description of the course, and more. (see image below)
If you complete five of the selected hikes - or 26.2 miles of trails (a marathon!) -by December 1st, you can receive a commemorative pin (while supplies last).
Or, if you prefer to join a naturalist-led hike, check out this calendar of events throughout the year!
